Partner Solutions Architect Manager, AI & Growth - ASEAN, ASEAN APO PSA Team
Are you passionate about helping AI-driven consulting partners to scale across ASEAN using the cloud and AI services? We are looking for an experienced and technically strong people manager to lead our Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) teams within the ASEAN Partner Organization.
This role owns the technical strategy, team development, and partner engagement for:
• AI Partner PSAs: A team of Partner Solutions Architects who support AI/ML Consulting Partners to co-build solutions on AWS, co-sell through AWS Marketplace, and scale globally across AWS Regions. These partners are building next-generation AI applications leveraging Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and other AWS AI/ML services.
• Growth Partner PSAs: A team of Partner Solutions Architects supporting AWS Growth Partners, driving technical enablement, solution design, and scale motions through the channel partners to accelerate Cloud and AI adoption across ASEAN markets.
This is a highly visible, dual-charter leadership role that requires to cover ASEAN countries (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines) to engage directly with partners, lead executive briefings, and represent AWS at area and country events.
Key job responsibilities
Technical Strategy, Migration & Modernization & AI Enablement
• Set the technical vision, Migration & Modernization and AI acceleration strategy across teams, identifying common enablement needs and opportunities for shared tooling, mechanisms, agentic tools and AI/ML reference architectures.
• Stay current on AWS AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Quick, Kiro etc.) and industry trends to inform partner technical guidance and co-build motions.
• Build mechanisms to measure and improve partner technical outcomes including Migration & Modernization, AI competency and Managed Services certifications, validated AI solution designs, Marketplace listings, and customer wins.
• Drive partner enablement programs for both AI Partners and Growth Partners, ensuring partners can effectively leverage generative AI, agentic tools, foundation models, and ML services in their solutions.
• Establish technical bar-raising mechanisms to ensure partners deliver production-quality AI/ML solutions to end customers.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
• Serve as a senior technical voice to AI Partner and Growth Partner executives, building trusted advisor relationships at the CTO/VP Engineering level.
• Represent partner technical needs internally, influencing AWS AI service teams, partner programs, and product roadmaps to better serve the ASEAN partner ecosystem.
• Partner cross-functionally with Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Sales, Marketing, Training, and Professional Services to drive holistic partner success across the AI and distribution segments.
• Present at partner events, executive briefings, AWS Summits, and industry forums across ASEAN to elevate AWS partner technical thought leadership in AI.
• Cultivate relationships with AI Partner founders and Growth Partner technical leadership to drive co-innovation and joint go-to-market motions.
People Management and Operational Excellence
• Define and track team goals and performance metrics aligned to ASEAN Partner organizational priorities and business outcomes.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top technical talent across ASEAN; build a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team culture that spans multiple countries and cultures.
• Establish scalable operating rhythms, reporting mechanisms, and continuous improvement practices across both team charters.
• Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and prioritization across AI Partner and Growth Partner engagement models.

This role offers a unique leadership opportunity: you will shape how AWS engages technically with both the fast-moving Partner segment (startups and ISVs building AI-first solutions) and the high-scale Growth Partner channel (distributors enabling downstream resellers).
By leading across these two domains, you will develop cross-pollination strategies, identify common AI enablement patterns, and build mechanisms that amplify partner impact at scale.
