Partnership Engineer

You will support strategic partners throughout the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales technical engagement through post-signing delivery and activation. You will act as the primary technical contact for partners, translate partner needs into clear internal actions, coordinate cross-functional work, manage technical onboarding and go-live readiness, create partner-facing documentation and playbooks, monitor integration health using data, and drive resolution of integration risks and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support pre-sales technical engagements with partners
  • Serve as primary technical point of contact for partners
  • Explain platform architecture and integration models
  • Assess partner technical readiness and integration requirements
  • Design solution approaches that align partner needs with platform capabilities
  • Coordinate integration scope, timelines, and requirements with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations
  • Translate partner requirements into clear internal inputs and next steps
  • Manage technical onboarding, integration milestones, and go-live readiness
  • Identify integration risks and drive cross-functional resolution
  • Monitor onboarding progress and integration health using data and metrics
  • Enable partner activation and early scaling on the platform
  • Create partner-facing technical documentation, playbooks, and guides
  • Gather partner feedback and provide structured input to Product and Engineering

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical partnerships, or similar partner-facing technical roles
  • Experience supporting external partners through complex integrations or platform onboarding and triaging technical issues
  • Strong ability to understand and explain technical systems and architectures without owning hands-on development
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with APIs, platform integrations, and distributed systems (conceptual understanding)
  • Experience in the domain name ecosystem, internet infrastructure, or adjacent industries preferred
  • Exposure to Web3, blockchain, or tokenization concepts or strong willingness to learn preferred
  • Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments preferred
