Parts Manager
Job Summary:
Manages the Parts Department to meet ongoing customer needs and deadlines. Help manage business priorities and develop good customer relations. Creates new business opportunities and further develops existing customer relationships.
Position Responsibilities:
- Communicate with existing and prospective customers to find solutions to their respective laundry and dry-cleaning equipment parts and related supplies needs.
- Purchasing parts and supplies for both parts and service departments, including maintaining appropriate quantities.
- Manage the Parts and Warehouse team through setting performance objectives, performance reviews, immediate feedback, and delegation of tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Audit vendor invoices for accuracy related to quantity and price.
- Monitor and maintain inventory for correct costs, selling price, part numbers and quantity reorder points.
- Ensuring all equipment is staged for individual projects. Either through delegation to subordinates or directly placing all equipment required for the installation.
- Invoice all parts orders and process all returns and credits.
- Edit all parts invoices for accuracy before posting.
- Edit open orders and purchase orders.
- Warranty claims process including obtaining defective parts from customer and credits from vendor.
- Maintain paperwork flow for all order processing and generate inventory reports.
- Take ownership in our business results and your personal wellness.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies include excellent customer service skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. The Parts Manager should be a relationship builder and exercise our Core Values. finally, they should have good organizational skills and attention to detail and safety.
Requirements and desired experience:
AA or Technical degree or equivalent experience in similar environment.
Accounting experience; two (2) years or greater a plus.
Supervisory or managerial experience a plus.
Required to pass a background, physical, drug and alcohol screenings.
Authorization to work in the United States.
