Pastry Chef

We are seeking a creative, passionate, and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for leading the pastry section, creating exceptional desserts and baked goods, maintaining the highest quality standards, and delivering memorable luxury dining experiences in line with MGallery brand standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Consistently deliver exceptional quality, creativity, and presentation in all pastry and bakery products.
  • Lead and supervise the pastry team, ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to brand standards.
  • Design and develop innovative dessert menus, seasonal specialties, and special occasion offerings.
  • Ensure all pastry items are prepared, presented, and served according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and contribute to achieving departmental financial objectives.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety in compliance with HACCP requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to support hotel events, banquets, and outlet promotions.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of pastry ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements promptly

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership role within luxury hotels or upscale restaurants.
  • Culinary degree or professional pastry certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, chocolate work, sugar artistry, and dessert presentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train and develop team members while fostering a positive working environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and menu planning.
