Patient Care Technician - CRCC (PCT)
Job Overview
As a PCT on the CRCC Unit, you’ll support nurses in caring for critically ill medical, surgical, and cardiac patients who require close monitoring. You’ll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and provide compassionate bedside care — including support for patients nearing the end of life. Your steady presence and attention to detail help ensure patients receive safe, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity setting.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens
- Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Document patient information accurately
- This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations
- Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

CRCC is a 26‑bed ICU/Telemetry unit caring for critically ill medical, surgical, and cardiac patients who require intensive monitoring. With advanced therapies, strong teamwork, and multidisciplinary collaboration, the unit offers an exceptional environment for building high‑acuity clinical skills.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of required PCT classes for the unit
