As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in Swift Monitoring in Control Room Team, you will monitor and maintain various application infrastructures. You will act as a single point of contact for the Line of Business and external service providers for all applications and connectivity related issues and you will escalate all issues and alerts to the incident manager in order to remediate and resolve incidents with minimal business impact. This role is for EMEA shift and a 24/7 function.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in Swift Monitoring in Control Room Team, you will monitor and maintain various application infrastructures. You will act as a single point of contact for the Line of Business and external service providers for all applications and connectivity related issues and you will escalate all issues and alerts to the incident manager in order to remediate and resolve incidents with minimal business impact. This role is for EMEA shift and a 24/7 function.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand current Swift architecture and infrastructure, assessing business impacts from disruptions to message and transaction flows.
- Monitor all systems and queues across platforms to ensure operational continuity.
- Investigate alerts and take necessary actions to resolve issues promptly.
- Initiate and open Service Centre tickets for incident tracking and resolution.
- Identify and escalate issues through the Incident Management process, participating in calls to provide operational insights.
- Participate in business requirement activities, ensuring monitoring tasks are considered for automation.
- Support testing activities and implementation events as needed.
- Own and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where appropriate.
- Engage in Command Center activities, including cross-training with team members.
- Work in shifts including mandatory weekend work by rota basis.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Advanced knowledge of global payment processing operations and systems architecture to support operational efficiency and change management.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques to interpret and communicate insights for informed decision-making with senior stakeholders.
- Commercial and growth mindset to adapt to fast-paced environments and new business initiatives, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of cybersecurity controls and anti-fraud strategies to protect information and systems, and ability to navigate dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and design-thinking techniques to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Knowledge of ISO or Swift message processing or management.
- Experience with operations, controls and problem solving related to Payments, Cash, Treasury Operations.
- Experience in global payments and understanding of accounting and money movement processes.
