Required Skills

  • 8+ years of Telecom Wireless Core Network experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function)
    • PCF (Policy Control Function)
    • OCS (Online Charging System)
  • Extensive experience with AMDOCS/Openet Policy and Charging solutions.
  • Strong understanding of LTE EPC and 5G Core architectures.
  • Expertise in Diameter protocols and interfaces:
    • Gx
    • Gy
    • Sy
    • Rx
    • Ro
  • Experience troubleshooting policy and charging call flows.
  • Strong understanding of subscriber policy management, QoS enforcement, charging rules, and policy control.
  • Experience supporting carrier-grade production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience using packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with 5G Service Based Architecture (SBA).
  • Experience with PCF integration involving:
    • SMF
    • CHF
    • NRF
    • UDR
    • AF
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, or cloud-native telecom deployments.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Shell).
  • Experience with telecom operators such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Rogers, Bell, Telus, Vodafone, or similar Tier-1 carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, configure, and support PCRF, PCF, and OCS platforms.
  • Perform integration and troubleshooting of policy and charging solutions in LTE and 5G networks.
  • Analyze Diameter signaling and resolve network issues involving Gx, Gy, Sy, Rx, and related interfaces.
  • Support policy implementation for QoS, throttling, sponsored data, roaming, and charging use cases.
  • Participate in software upgrades, migrations, and new feature deployments.
  • Perform production support, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with vendors, operations teams, engineering teams, and network architects.
  • Develop and maintain HLDs, LLDs, MOPs, test plans, and operational procedures.
  • Support customer acceptance testing and production readiness activities.
