People and Culture Business Partner - Americas
We are looking for a motivated and experienced People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner to join our fast-paced P&C team. Reporting to the Senior P&C Manager, Americas, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and flexible HR service across two regions (NORAM & LATAM), driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures and employment legislation in alignment with the Aurora culture and values.
You will be a pragmatic collaborator with excellent delivery, integrity and the ability to challenge respectfully. This role requires excellent written & verbal communication, problem solving and high attention to detail. It would suit someone with an international mindset, someone who enjoys working with colleagues in other global locations, including the US, UK, and Australia.

- Provide first line generalist P&C advisory support on policies, processes, and systems.
- Manage employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, attendance, probation) escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Assist with the development and implementation of local P&C policies and procedures and escalating any gaps based on local legislation.
- Conducting exit interviews and surface actionable insights for retention and engagement.
- Helping to drive the company’s Performance & Development Review cycles; planning activities, delivering employee and line manager training with oversight from the Senior P&C Manager.
- Support internal mobility, relocations, LOA cases and onboarding coordination with both Regional and Global stakeholders.
- Assist with the development and implementation of local P&C policies and procedures, escalating gaps based on local legislation.
- Utilize data analytics to assess HR metrics and trends, provide insights to inform decision-making, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Partner with TA coordinators for operational delivery and Global L&D to ensure seamless execution.
- Assists in drafting and localizing regional communications and engagement templates.
- Coordinate logistics for regional messaging and leadership updates.
- Works with P&C Operations to update and maintain policies/employee handbooks.
- Stays current on evolving employment law across NORAM and LATAM.
- Coordinates with Senior P&C Manager as well as both internal and external council on legal matters.
Required attributes:
- 5+ years of experience in a HRBP, HR Operations, or similar roles
- Experience supporting the business with employee relations activity such as absence management, capability, performance management, and investigation and disciplinary processes
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation; particularly employment law and worker-related regulation
- Experience working with product teams as partner and thought leader
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels
- A self-starter and a real team player, who can evidence using their initiative and their ability to work under pressure
- Flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude, taking pride in delivering outstanding work
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities whilst maintaining good attention to detail
- Fluency in English is essential
- Excellent MS skills particularly MS PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- Experience supporting product team growth through world-class, people- first processes
- Experience driving and creating both process and procedure
Desirable attributes:
- Proven experience working for a fast-growing international consultancy or professional services/technology environments
- Proven work experience managing complex meeting schedules across multiple time zones
- Experience with Latin America a plus
- SHRM-CP or similar accreditation strongly preferred
