Join Tapt Media as a People and Culture Business Partner. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our leaders, providing the tools and coaching necessary to navigate the employee lifecycle and cultivate a high-performing, inclusive culture.
Tapt Media is Australia’s leading commercial talk radio network. Home to the country’s most influential stations—2GB, 3AW, 4BC, and 6PR – as well as a growing slate of podcast titles, we reach millions of Australians every week. With a focus on "Live and Local" content, we offer Australians and brands the intimacy and trust of radio, combined with the deep engagement and storytelling of podcasts and social.
Note on Ownership: Nine Radio is proud to have recently joined Tapt Media. While this recruitment process is being managed by Nine under a transition of services agreement, the successful candidate will be employed directly by Tapt Media.
Day to day you will:
- Strategic Partnering: Act as a key support for leaders, providing daily coaching, leadership development, and performance management guidance.
- Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) Management: Guide leaders through complex employee issues, conflict resolution, and investigations while ensuring compliance with legislation and awards.
- Culture & Change: Champion organisational values and support change management initiatives to help teams navigate periods of transformation.
- Safety & Wellbeing: Promote psychological safety and embed our WHS framework into the fabric of the team culture.
- People Initiatives: Support the execution of talent mapping, succession planning, and innovative people strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary Qualifications: A degree in Human Resources or Employee Relations.
- ER Expertise: Proven experience in managing investigations, conflict resolution, and interpreting employment laws.
- Influence & Coaching: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence leaders at all levels.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess complex situations, analyze people data, and develop practical solutions.
- Technical Savvy: Experience with HRIS (ELMO preferred) and the ability to design resources that improve self-service capabilities
