We are seeking a proactive and experienced People Systems Program Manager to join our dynamic People Team. This role is crucial for supporting our People systems and enhancements and requires 5 – 7 years of hand-on experience with large HCM platforms and other HR systems. As a self-starter, you will be responsible for both the daily support and the strategic improvement of our People Team technology, acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive successful outcomes.
Your Impact
As the People Systems Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our People systems and processes. Your work will directly contribute to the successful delivery of People systems initiatives, improve user experience, and ensure our People platforms evolve to meet business needs. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by transforming business requirements into effective, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the cross-functional People systems roadmap, directly enabling the success of the People and IT teams. Design and manage a centralized intake and prioritization process for all system enhancement requests, owning this significant process within the People team's project structure.
- Proactively identify and solve People systems and data problems before they impact other teams. Use your deep expertise in HR processes and systems to translate vague requirements into practical, innovative solutions and clear functional specifications for the configuration team.
- Partner with People Team stakeholders to gather requirements for new and existing systems enhancements and reports, while ensuring People data integrity and governance.
- Coordinate and support implementation and management of our People systems and related internal tools.
- Train end users and create collateral to target audiences
- Support and maintain compliance activities by ensuring HR data, system configurations, and business processes align with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and support release cycles, including analyzing new features and advising People Team leaders and functional SMEs on potential benefits and considerations.
Your Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in an HRIS, People technology, or related Program Management role.
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver cross-functional projects from start to finish, influencing peers and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Sought out for your ability to resolve ambiguity and proactively identify and solve complex problems before they escalate.
- Experience acting as an autonomous owner of project deliverables and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong experience with a major HCM platform and a deep understanding of core HR business processes.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and system specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted and influential voice in planning discussions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to ensure overlap with the U.S. Eastern time zone.
