Performance & Sustainability Lead
Overview The purpose of this role is to lead the development of Sundar Snacks manufacturing performance and sustainability system, ensuring performance KPI delivery and facilitate the delivery of corporate productivity as per AOP Plan. The role will also own internal and external reporting of manufacturing performance and sustainability measures along with the respective productivity. Develop and implement Performance with Sustainability agenda for the site: Line Efficiencies, Material Efficiencies, Capability Building, Water reduction, energy reduction and ReCon. Responsibilities Lead Performance agenda for Sundar plant in line with PEPSICO international programs. Own all manufacturing reporting system related to measures (KPI’s). Implement & sustain M&W (Manufacturing and Warehouse best practices) Monitor daily/weekly/monthly plant performance measures and develop action plans to address critical issues. Provide timely/actionable feedback to the plant team Ensure data accuracy for measure up reporting through internal audits and system updates for the site. Support the snacks productivity agenda by identifying opportunity areas and supporting plant Kaizen projects. Ensure sustainable Frontline capability through: M&W refresher training Coaching FLMs, TLs, Engineering teams on shift-specific performance gaps, measures, trends and trade-offs Conduct “Performance Audits”. Identify performance gaps and implement solutions to address performance gaps Co-lead the development & reporting of snacks performance, sustainability and productivity scorecard. Lead site Sustainability efforts on a day-to-day basis, with guidance and support from OU Sustainability Manager & CU Sustainability Manager. Develop and implement annual sustainability glidepath for the site in line with AOP, and agree on sustainability projects in order to achieve annual plans including ReCon saving goals. Establish and manage Site “Green teams” for Resource Conservation & sustainability. Roll-out & implement resource conservation & sustainability programs & best practices, including conducting trainings & developing action plans to achieve AOP targets. Conduct periodic KPI health checks for the site. Collaborate and aligns with MU & Region on site Sustainability plans, key processes, and standards. Compile and provides summary performance reviews to CU Performance / Sustainability Manager and site staff. Promote sustainability culture on the site through general awareness communications. Roll-out Resource Conservation diagnostic tool for the Region and implement on the site. Qualifications Degree in Engineering Knowledge of FMCG, food process (Preferred) 1-3 years manufacturing Excellence/IWS/TPM/Open +/WCM tools Good technical skills Good People Management.
