PERFORMING ARTISTE

Performing Artist Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform live shows in various venues
• Collaborate with other performers and creative team members
• Create and rehearse performances, including choreography, music, and dialogue
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
• Represent the organization professionally and positively in all interactions with the public and other industry professionals
• Maintain and manage performance-related equipment and costumes

Performing Artist Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in multiple performance styles, including theater, music, dance, and comedy
• Expertise in musical instruments, singing, or other performance skills
• Ability to create and lead workshops and classes for aspiring performers
• Proficiency in stage management and production
• Experience in tour management and coordination
• Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts or related field preferred
• 5+ years of professional performance experience
• Strong stage presence and ability to connect with audiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and to take direction from creative team members
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
