Job Description
Job Summary:**
As a Personal Banker at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with individual customers, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. You will play a crucial role in helping customers achieve their financial goals while contributing to the bank's growth.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Proactively identify and engage with new and existing customers to understand their financial needs and offer appropriate banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
* Provide personalized financial advice and solutions, ensuring a deep understanding of each customer's financial situation and future aspirations.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets for various banking products and services, contributing to the overall profitability of the branch.
* Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including account openings, withdrawals, deposits, and other banking services.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of UOB Malaysia's product offerings, policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
* Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Collaborate with other departments and specialists within the bank to deliver holistic financial solutions to customers.
* Adhere to all compliance, risk management, and ethical standards set by the bank and regulatory bodies.
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Job Qualifications:**
* Diploma/ bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
* Fresh Graduate or Proven experience (minimum 1 years) in a sales or customer-facing role within the banking, financial services industry or sales line.
* Strong understanding of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in other local languages is an advantage.
