Personal Trainer (Manager)

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements:

  • Certified Personal Trainer with a recognised certification; ie ACSM, NCSF, ACE, NASM, or any similar accredited program
  • Minimum 2–3 years of personal training experience, with some experience mentoring or guiding junior staff
  • Willing to continuously learn and expand their knowledge in the field of fitness and exercise science
  • Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals

Tasks:

  • Develop personalised fitness programs that cater to each client's unique goals, needs, and health conditions, ensuring a tailored approach to their fitness journey
  • Closely monitor client progress, provide motivation and encouragement to keep them committed and on track to achieving their fitness goals
  • Educate on proper form to prevent injury and promote effective workouts
  • Support and mentor junior trainers, providing guidance on programming, client handling, and professional development
  • Assist in day-to-day team coordination, including scheduling and session quality, while remaining primarily client-facing
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workout environment for everyone
