Pest Control Technician (Rider)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pest Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective pest management services while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial premises to identify pest infestations and assess potential risks.
• Carry out pest control treatments using approved methods, including the application of pesticides, baiting systems, and trapping techniques.
• Handle and apply pesticides safely and in accordance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Advise clients on pest prevention measures, sanitation practices, and recommendations to minimise future infestations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, treatments, and services rendered.
• Respond professionally to client enquiries, concerns, and service requests, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Remain updated on industry developments, emerging pest control technologies, and best practices.
• Comply with all company policies, workplace safety requirements, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid NEA Vector Control Worker/Technician certification.
• Possession of a Class 2b Driving Licence
• Willingness to perform outdoor work and travel to various locations as required.
• Strong team player with a positive and professional work attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
