Petroleum Service Technician/CDL Driver

Job Description

Position Overview: This position is responsible for the maintenance of our petroleum tanks. This role will be responsible for fixing any issues that may arise with a tank and ensure safety rules and regulations are followed in accordance.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install and set petroleum tanks and equipment as well as provide removal of tanks

  • Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment

  • Deliver fuel as required

  • Understand and safely operate equipment and vehicle assigned

  • Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Maintain positive communication with the supervisor and customers as needed

  • Properly complete necessary paperwork and records

  • Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of equipment, building, and grounds

  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL required

  • HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain, and acceptable driving history

  • Mechanical knowledge

  • Ability to obtain required certifications

  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize

  • Ability to work independently

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills

  • Willing to work extended hours and possible weekends during peak seasons

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk a mile, climb steps/ladders and lift up to 75lbs

  • Bending and climbing in and out of the truck

  • Ability and willingness to work outside in both hot and cold conditions
