About the Position: This position is located at 1st Special Operations Medical Group - Hurlburt Field, Florida This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Confirm proper dosing of each prescription.

Ensure staff are storing, handling and filling prescriptions in a safe manner, to include chemotherapeutic medications.

Provide instructions, advice and assistance to officials on effectiveness, suitability, hazards, appropriateness for the intended use, economic and aspects of use.

Dispense medications using appropriate techniques while following the health systems policies and procedures.

Provide medication information to patients.

Develop individual dosing regimens based upon pharmacokinetics of drugs employed, disease states and medication history of the patient.

Coordinate with the pharmacy to ensure optimal provision of medication therapy.
