Photo Process and Equipment Engineer
The role involves defining process development and material evaluations during engineering builds.
- Collaborating closely with panel design teams and subsystem teams to align on key processes and quantify the impact of our design decisions.
- Involving in debugging challenging and complex photo process and material-related issues within the display.
- Providing insights into the diverse design features that make up new Apple products.
- Analyzing collected data and presenting it to cross-functional teams, ensuring that all teams are informed about the status and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
2+ years of hands-on experience, including troubleshooting and analyzing process/equipment failures.
Comfortable working in a cleanroom R&D environment with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in both oral and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate should be familiar with lab execution systems, MES tracking, and traceability of process/tool performance. Strong project execution skills are crucial, enabling the candidate to effectively balance equipment needs with evolving process goals. Additionally, the candidate should possess creative, critical logical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
Highly self-motivated and capable of completing tasks independently, the ideal candidate will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
