Physician (Family Medicine)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Naval Hospital - Beaufort, South Carolina to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Provides comprehensive Family Medicine medical care to a broad range of patients with both common and complex medical concerns. This position is Obligated and a TERM - Not to Exceed 5 years position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.

Serve as a Physician in the delivery of Family medicine care to all ages of active-duty personnel, their dependents, eligible Service Component Civilian employees, and other eligible beneficiaries.

Formulate full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

Apply new procedures in the evaluation and treatment of complex patient cases.

Conduct research for the advancement of the Family Medicine Program.

Serve as a member of the professional medical staff and faculty to provide advisory and consultative services on various meetings, committees, conferences, and boards.

Evaluate the care provided to patients at medical treatment facility.
