Physician (Gastroenterology Program Manager)
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The Gastroenterology Section provides services in the Salisbury VAMC, Charlotte HCC, and Kernersville HCC. Applicants will be mid/senior career level physicians interested in supporting and building a strong, clinically oriented program and fostering an environment that encourages the best clinical care for the Veterans we serve. The Gastroenterology Program Manager will report to the Section Chief of Gastroenterology. The Program Manager will help support the Section Chief and the Assistant Chief in the administrative responsibilities and management of clinical operations and endoscopy program. Duties include but are not limited to: Oversee the day-to-day endoscopy and clinic operations at their site. Work closely with the Nurse manager at each site and ensure full utilization of endoscopy and outpatient clinics. Provide direct oversight to Advanced Practice Providers at their site. Provide support to assigned tasks provided by the Section Chief of Gastroenterology. Lead quality improvement projects in Gastroenterology.
