Physician (Inpatient Psychiatrist)

Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform evaluations, diagnosis(es), treatments, and preventions of mental health disorders. Perform comprehensive examinations and assessments, determining diagnosis(es), and completing medical work-ups. Perform and document comprehensive history and physical assessments/evaluations. Admitting patients to the hospital and writing admissions orders. Discharging patients from the hospital and dictating/documenting discharge summaries. Placing and completing consultations, administrative and patient care orders. Treat, manage, monitor, and promote health among patients. Develop and implement treatment plans, referring to other specialties or appropriate community resources. Provide consultation to staff nurses, medical staff, interdisciplinary colleagues.
