Physician - Primary Care
The Primary Care Physician is an independent care provider who is highly skilled in the management of a patient's primary care needs or subspecialty evaluation and treatment. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Duties include but not limited to: Provides primary care for a panel of patients using the medical home model of care, as part of an interdisciplinary member of the team. Practices, promotes and implements current safety policies and procedures. Assesses safety needs of patients and recognizes opportunities to improve environmental and operational safety. Identifies quality improvement (QI) issues, participates in QI monitoring and evaluates clinical practice. Utilizes QI findings to improve quality of care.
