Piping Designer (AutoCAD Plant 3D)

  • Develop and maintain 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D<\/b>.
    <\/li>
  • Prepare piping layouts, equipment layouts, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Generate piping isometrics, orthographic drawings, and fabrication drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Create and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) as required.
    <\/li>
  • Perform piping routing considering process requirements, construct ability, and maintenance access.
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate piping design activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
    <\/li>
  • Prepare material take\-offs (MTOs) and piping deliverables.
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.
    <\/li>
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts within the 3D model.
    <\/li>
  • Support design reviews, HAZOP reviews, and construct ability assessments.
    <\/li>
  • Incorporate comments from clients, engineering teams, and site personnel.
    <\/li>
  • Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation according to company procedures.
    <\/li>
  • Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.

    Requirements<\/h3>
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
    <\/li>
  • 3\u201310 years of piping design experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Energy sectors.
    <\/li>
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D<\/b> and AutoCAD.
    <\/li>
  • Experience in developing 3D models, piping layouts, and isometric drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Strong understanding of piping components, valves, fittings, and support systems.
    <\/li>
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, plot plans, and equipment layout drawings.
    <\/li>
  • Knowledge of piping codes and standards such as:
    • ASME<\/span><\/span> B31.3
      <\/li>
    • API<\/span><\/span> standards
      <\/li>
    • ISO<\/span><\/span> standards
      <\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and vendor drawings.

    • Good communication and coordination skills.
