Planner-SWRO

Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling the project schedule for a Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) desalination project in Fujairah, UAE. The role ensures effective planning, timely execution, and progress tracking across all project phases including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The Planner will work closely with project teams to identify risks, optimize timelines, and ensure delivery in line with contractual requirements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
  • Establish project baseline schedules, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams for accurate planning inputs.
  • Analyze schedule variances and identify delays and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts.
  • Track procurement, material delivery, and construction activities against schedule.
  • Support resource planning and allocation to meet project timelines.
  • Conduct risk analysis and scenario planning for schedule optimization.
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights.
  • Evaluate contractor schedules and ensure alignment with project master schedule.
  • Assist in claims analysis, extension of time (EOT), and delay assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and reporting standards.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
  • Proven experience in large industrial, infrastructure, or desalination (SWRO) projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of project control principles, scheduling techniques, and cost integration.
  • Familiarity with EPC project lifecycle and construction methodologies.
  • Experience working in the Middle East, preferably UAE.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of risk management and delay analysis techniques.
  • Certification such as PMP or Primavera P6 (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
