We are looking for a professional, experienced Plant Manager to join our team! A Plant Manager is responsible for overall operations of the yard.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships to coordinate home scrap with Sinton mill and campus customers. This includes items such as: transportation of scrap, processing of scrap, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner, acting as a liaison between the mill / campus customers and Omni for communication and scrap processing needs (the intent is the mill would have a single contact for their scrap processing needs on the campus).
- Make operational decisions within the yard that are consistent with the yard’s annual, monthly, and daily plan.
- Ensure compliance in safety, environmental, and personnel issues that may arise.
- Facilitate, design, develop, evaluate, and track training for employee growth and development.
- Direct and manage yard operations for production, quality, shipping and receiving.
- Ensure operating expenses are consistent with the facility budgetary and fiscal performance goals. Develop and control budgets and operation plans.
- Generate and maintain reports as required.
- Manage yard inventory with good housekeeping.
- Evaluate, order new and/or replacement equipment as required.
- Control and manage labor overtime.
- Be visible in the yard.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Leads with integrity while actively contributing to the development of a safe, sustainable, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
- Detail orientated with demonstrated examples.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
- Experience with ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
- Exceptional team building, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate employees.
- Ability to make quick decisions in an ever changing work environment.
