Plant Performance & Productivity Manager - Lamphun Plant

Overview The Plant Performance & Productivity Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence and maximizing overall plant performance through continuous improvement initiatives, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization. This role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency, asset utilization, and operational reliability while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The incumbent will lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance plant productivity, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the plant. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), throughput, capacity utilization, yield, and operational efficiency. Establish and track KPIs to ensure plant performance targets are achieved. Identify performance gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions. Lead plant-wide productivity improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and eliminate operational losses, waste, and bottlenecks. Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies aligned with business objectives. Facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using structured methodologies. Promote best practices and standardization across plant operations. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to optimize plant performance. Support capacity planning and process optimization initiatives. Ensure sustainable implementation of operational excellence programs. Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop dashboards and performance reports for plant leadership. Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve productivity and profitability. Lead cross-functional productivity and cost-saving projects. Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and budgets. Track project outcomes and ensure targeted benefits are realized. Coach and develop employees on continuous improvement methodologies and performance management tools. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence. Support organizational change initiatives to improve plant capabilities. Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining quality, safety, and delivery performance. Drive annual productivity and cost-saving initiatives to meet business objectives. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is an advantage. Experience Minimum 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, plant performance, operational excellence, or continuous improvement. At least 3–5 years of leadership or managerial experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in leading plant-wide productivity and cost optimization initiatives.
