Plumber
- Plumbing System Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage, and gas systems across the property.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, faulty fixtures, and broken pipes.
- Installation of Plumbing Fixtures: Install, replace, and maintain plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, faucets, showers, and water heaters, ensuring proper functioning and installation according to industry standards.
- Water Pressure Maintenance: Monitor and adjust water pressure and flow, ensuring the efficiency of the plumbing systems in all areas of the property.
- Plumbing Emergency Response: Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, including burst pipes, flooding, and other urgent issues. Perform necessary repairs and ensure that the plumbing system is restored quickly and efficiently.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative measures, such as flushing pipes and drains, to prevent future plumbing issues and ensure the longevity of the system.
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain a high level of awareness of current plumbing codes and industry best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and department heads to ensure plumbing systems are maintained to the highest standard and resolve any maintenance-related issues promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of plumbing work performed, including installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to guests and staff by ensuring that plumbing systems are functioning properly and responding quickly to any plumbing-related requests.
Sustainability: Follow environmentally friendly practices such as water conservation, waste reduction, and use of eco-friendly plumbing products.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in plumbing or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a plumber, particularly in a commercial or hospitality setting. Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairs. Proficiency in using plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose plumbing issues accurately and resolve them quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards and complies with safety codes.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of plumbing safety practices, including safe handling of tools, chemicals, and materials.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and complete plumbing work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and supervisors.
