The Commercial Plumber Apprentice is responsible for assisting Commercial Plumbing Mechanics and Commercial Plumbing Foremen with all aspects of installation of commercial plumbing, water, and gas systems in a construction setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify and safely use required tools and special equipment.
• Select the type and size of pipe required.
• Locate and mark positions for plumbing connections and fixtures.
• Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assemble and install plumbing valves and fittings.
• Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
