We are seeking a skilled Construction Plumbing Mechanic to support commercial new construction and fit-out projects. This role focuses on the installation of complete plumbing systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience, the ability to read and work from plans, and a team-oriented mindset.
Compensation: Hourly rates starting at $25/hr.+ depending on experience
Core Responsibilities
Install commercial plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects
Complete rough-in and finish work across domestic water, sanitary/vent, gas and mechanical piping systems
Read and interpret blueprints and layout piping and fixtures accordingly
Work independently or as part of a larger crew while maintaining quality, productivity and safety
Coordinate with foremen and other trades; support/mentor apprentices, as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing construction installations, from rough-in through finish
Ability to communicate effectively in English to read plans, follow safety instructions and coordinate with jobsite teams
Journeyman or Master Plumbing license preferred but not required
Medical Gas certification or willingness to become certified
Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings and specifications, with a solid understanding of plumbing and ADA codes and OSHA standards
Hands-on experience with common commercial piping materials and installation methods
Scissor lift, boom lift, and rough-terrain forklift certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug and background checks
