Polyclinic Physiotherapist (5 days / Office Hours)

Work location: West

Work hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients independently.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and provide updates to referring physicians and relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate recording and administration of patient-related services.
  • Adhere to established clinical, operational, and service quality standards.
  • Practise within professional scope and seek guidance from senior clinicians or multidisciplinary team members when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Support departmental and organisational initiatives, quality improvement projects, and service enhancement activities.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of clinical protocols, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and oversee therapy-related equipment and inventory to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • Contribute to staff education through in-service training, professional development activities, workshops, presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Support the development, promotion, and enhancement of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
  • Participate in the orientation and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical guidance to students and junior staff during clinical attachments.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and lifelong learning to maintain clinical excellence and stay current with evidence-based practice.

Key Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy and must be fully AHPC registered.
  • Preferred candidates with 2 - 3 years’ experience as a practising Physiotherapist.
  • Service oriented and customer focused
