Permanent part-time job share working weekday shifts
The Workforce Unit is a small friendly team in a fast-paced hospital environment. As a Pool Bank Liaison Officer in this team, you will coordinate staffing resources for our Clinical teams across the hospital.
You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to streamline and facilitate recruitment and workforce processes:
Coordinate interviews liaising with both applicants and Nurse Managers
Assist with rostering and allocation of Pool nurses and midwives
Assist with On-Boarding new Bank and Pool staff, coordinating orientation, setting up access to rostering and IT services
Develop close relationships with a range of stakeholders, particularly Bank and Pool nurses and Senior Nursing staff, Allocators and Afterhours Coordinators
What you’ll bring
Experience in an office environment
High-level office skills with an eye for detail
High level of customer service
Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
