As a Portfolio Manager within ING’s Business & Portfolio Management team, you operate at the heart of strategy execution—ensuring that our most critical change initiatives are prioritised, governed, and delivered effectively.
You are a trusted advisor to senior management, translating strategy into actionable plans and steering a complex portfolio across functions, tribes, and geographies. Your impact is tangible: you enable better decisions, optimise resource allocation, and ensure that delivery stays aligned with ING’s strategic and regulatory priorities.
The team
You will be part of the Business & Portfolio Management team within a global Delivery / Transformation environment, working closely with senior stakeholders across Business, Delivery, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
You act as a key connector between strategy and change execution—working shoulder-to-shoulder with management teams, portfolio leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clarity, focus, and results at scale. This is a high-visibility role for a professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys making a real organisational impact.

- Shape and steer a high-impact portfolio, making smart prioritisation and resource trade-offs that drive real business value
- Turn strategy into action by translating complex ambitions into clear, executable roadmaps
- Drive performance through sharp insights—using data to challenge, guide, and enable better decisions
- Own financial grip by bringing transparency to budgets, forecasts, and investment choices
- Set up and run governance that brings clarity, speed, and confidence in decision-making
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing outcomes across functions and geographies
- Lead and deliver complex transformations, thriving in ambiguity and making progress where others hesitate
How to succeed
