Power Generation Technician (Field Service / Diesel + Electrical)

What You’ll Do
You will work both in the shop and in the field to ensure generators and power equipment are fully operational and reliable.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on generators, light towers, and electrical distribution systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems (12/24V DC, 480V AC), and controls
- Respond to field service calls and support customer sites when needed
- Help guide and support junior technicians in daily work activities
- Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Coordinate with operations and logistics to keep equipment ready for deployment
- Assist with Field Tech work as required
- Additional duties, as requested
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience working on generators, diesel engines, or heavy equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with power generation equipment (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in field conditions
- Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
Work Environment & Travel
- Mix of shop work and field service
- Travel to job sites and emergency response work as needed
- Rotational or project-based travel may apply
