The\nTechno\-Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Model N<\/b> will serve as\na critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role\nrequires deep functional knowledge of Model N Revenue Management solutions\ncombined with strong technical understanding to support implementation,\nconfiguration, integration, optimization, and ongoing support for clients\npowered by Flex delivery models.<\/span>

The SME will lead\nsolution design, guide best practices, resolve complex issues, and ensure\nsuccessful delivery aligned with business objectives.<\/span>

Functional Responsibilities<\/a>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Act as the Model N functional expert<\/b> across modules such as:<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Revenue Management<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Pricing & Contract Management<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Government Pricing (Medicaid, Medicare, 340B,\nAMP, Best Price)<\/span>
<\/p>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Chargebacks, Rebates, and Incentives<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Gather, analyze, and document business\nrequirements from stakeholders.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Translate business needs into functional\nspecifications and system configurations.<\/span>
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Configure Model N applications to meet\nclient\-specific requirements.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead functional design workshops<\/b>, user\nstory creation, and solution walkthroughs.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support UAT planning, execution, and defect\ntriage.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide post\-go\-live functional support and\noptimization recommendations.<\/span>

Technical Responsibilities<\/a>

o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Integrations (inbound/outbound interfaces)<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Understand Model N data models, workflows, and\nconfiguration frameworks.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support troubleshooting of complex functional\nand technical issues.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Review and validate technical design documents\nto ensure alignment with functional intent.<\/span>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with APIs, batch jobs, and middleware\nintegrations where applicable.<\/span>

Delivery & Stakeholder Management

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Serve as the primary SME point of contact for\nclients and internal teams.

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Mentor junior consultants and analysts on Model\nN functionality.
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure adherence to delivery standards,\ntimelines, and quality benchmarks.

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in release management, regression\ntesting, and change impact analysis.
<\/p>

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate with Flex delivery leads to support\nscalable and efficient project execution.

· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in client\-facing consulting roles is\nhighly desirable.<\/span>
