Role Overview

As PR & Communications Manager at Banyan Tree Dubai, you will shape and share the story of the resort through thoughtful, authentic, and purposeful communication. You will be responsible for building meaningful relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring the brand is represented with consistency, integrity, and quiet confidence.

You will play a key role in expressing the essence of Banyan Tree—wellbeing, connection, and refined luxury - through storytelling that feels genuine, relevant, and aligned with the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Storytelling & PR Strategy

  • Develop and deliver a considered PR and communications strategy aligned with the resort’s vision and business objectives
  • Identify meaningful storytelling opportunities that reflect the spirit of Banyan Tree Dubai
  • Create and nurture strong relationships with key media and industry partners
  • Lead the planning of seasonal narratives, announcements, and brand moments

Media & Influencer Relations

  • Manage day-to-day media relations with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate media stays, interviews, and on-property experiences
  • Build relationships with relevant lifestyle, travel, wellness, and luxury publications
  • Select and manage influencer partnerships that feel authentic and aligned to the brand

Content & Communications

  • Craft press materials that reflect a refined and consistent brand voice
  • Oversee storytelling across earned, owned, and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment of messaging
  • Support content development for key resort experiences, dining, spa, and events

Reputation & Brand Integrity

  • Monitor media coverage and brand sentiment with care and attention
  • Support responses to reputational matters in coordination with corporate teams
  • Ensure all communications reflect Banyan Tree’s values and standards
  • Safeguard consistency of tone, message, and brand expression

Partnerships & Experiences

  • Support the development of meaningful collaborations and brand partnerships
  • Coordinate press and VIP visits with attention to detail and guest experience
  • Contribute to the planning of key resort moments and activations
  • Strengthen relationships that enhance the resort’s presence in the market

Internal Communication & Collaboration

  • Support internal communications that foster clarity, alignment, and engagement
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, F&B, Spa, and Operations teams
  • Ensure guest experiences are reflected accurately in all external communication

Performance & Reporting

  • Track media coverage and communications impact in a clear and structured way
  • Provide thoughtful insights and reporting on PR activity
  • Manage the PR budget responsibly and with commercial awareness

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in PR or communications, ideally within luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or premium brands
  • Strong understanding of media landscape in the UAE and international markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a refined editorial style
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management ability
