About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Medicine Allergy Clinic in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. Coordinate nursing care activities to include patient safety and education.
Administer medications with physicians orders after completion of medication administration competency test.
Provide comprehensive direct nursing care to patients based on the physician's medical plan.
Administer oxygen, IV piggyback medications, IV fluids, and oral medications.
Transport patients to other services, departments, and/or facilities.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Pain Clinic in support of the Head Nurse.
Assist in managing the Performance Improvement Plan for the clinic.
