Preventative Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems according to established maintenance schedules.
- Inspect equipment for signs of wear, damage, or potential failure and report findings to supervision.
- Lubricate, adjust, clean, and replace components as required.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Complete maintenance work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in maintenance areas and throughout the facility.
- Coordinate with production personnel to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Support emergency repairs and breakdown response as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to document maintenance activities in maintenance management systems.
