PRINCIPAL CSM, FE PRO GLOBAL SPARES
As the Global FE Capital Spares/Services Manager, you will be developing the Spares and Services procurement strategies and lead global initiatives. You will drive innovation and transformative category initiatives and implement use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, systems and processes for the portfolio. You will be responsible for conveying corporate business initiatives, aligning team and individual goals to business objectives, and driving overall high performance within the team and the department.
Build and Execute Category strategies
Work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan strategic sourcing direction for category.
Recommend targets for spend reduction, sourcing efficiency, supplier management and supply base optimization
Define and deliver category cost savings and scorecard metric targets, monitor and report out progress to targets
Recommend resource levels across FE Procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions
Monitor and adjust category compliance (e.g. risk, spend, quality, supplier segmentation, management)
Monitor the implementation of category and sourcing strategies and contract compliance and participate in the resolution of any constraints or issues
Communicate sourcing trends and results for FE categories to the Category Director
Maintain supplier segmentation map for category, and build partnerships with strategic suppliers
Drive Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in FE Spares

Manage Supplier Relationship Globally
Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and projects
Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers
Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with Micron’s strategic direction
Ensure suppliers comply with Micron’s business ethics, code-of-conduct programs, and corporate safety policies and social responsibility initiatives
Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization including Executive Leadership
Enlist senior management, when appropriate, to help reinforce commitment and involvement from suppliers
Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to the supply base
Interface with Stakeholders, Partners, and Suppliers on Category Strategies
Initiate and sustain effective communication with stakeholders, partners and suppliers (top down)
Share updates back to the Category Director and/or FE Capital Leadership Teams (bottom up)
Drive buy in to global strategies and Escalate issues, offering options and recommendation for resolution as necessary
Communicate strategic sourcing goals, category management plans, initiatives and targets
Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions
Initiate and sustain effective communication with stakeholders, partners and suppliers
Escalate issues, offering options and recommendation for resolution
Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with Category Director, Category Supplier Managers, and Leaders/Team Members
Implement processes to monitor stakeholder satisfaction for key suppliers
Drive proactive approach with Stakeholders when solving issues and representing Procurement
Manage conflict and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide advice to senior and executive management on strategic decisions related to the category
Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently, ability to work with minimal supervision
At least 10 years experience in procurement, Frontend Spares and Services procurement is preferred (this is required for external)
Proficient in MS office
Strong business acumen and highly self driven
Demonstration of strong analytical skills, including spend analytics and market analysis
Comfort around Senior Leaders and Executives, ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations
High Data Durexity and ability to summarize complex information into simple clear message
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
