As a <\/span><\/span><\/span>Principal/Lead Electronics Engineer \u2013 Embedded Hardware<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>, your roles and responsibilities include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

1. Vehicle Electronics Architecture<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Design, build and bring into production high performance electronics hardware such as vehicle control units, display clusters, telematics that include RF circuits, and sensor electronics.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Extract requirements from different component systems, firmware systems, software systems and vehicle systems to define architectures for high\-speed electronic design of control units and telematics.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Develop and maintain system\-level schematics, interface definitions, and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    2. Embedded Systems Design<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • Design the architecture and native hardware using high\-speed, high\-performance microprocessors and micro\-controllers for supporting automotive OS, graphics, vision systems, audio systems, radar/LIDAR systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Architect and design/validate connected vehicle systems including GNSS, LTE, BLE and Wi\-Fi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Lead the design, development and integration of embedded hardware for vehicle functions such as lighting, indicators, horn, immobiliser, cluster and IMUs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Collaborate with firmware teams to define hardware\-software interfaces, bootloaders, and OTA update mechanisms.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      3. Diagnostics & Compliance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/div>
      • Develop and implement UDS\-based diagnostics, fault logging, and service tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Ensure compliance with AIS\-004, ISO 26262, and other relevant automotive manufacturing and design standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

        4. Testing & Validation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/div>
        • Define and execute test plans for bench\-level and vehicle\-level validation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Use tools like Vector <\/span><\/span><\/span>CANoe<\/span><\/span><\/span>, CANalyzer, ETAS INCA, oscilloscopes, network/spectrum <\/span><\/span><\/span>analysers<\/span><\/span><\/span> for debugging and validation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
          5. Cross\-functional Collaboration<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/div>
          • Work closely with mechanical, software, powertrain, wire\-harness, and UX teams to ensure system\-level integration.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Work with cloud and mobile app teams to ensure real\-time data streaming, diagnostics, and remote\-control features.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Participate in design reviews, FMEA sessions, and field issue resolution.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

            Requirements<\/h3>

            What we are looking for:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p>

            • B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • 8+ years of experience in embedded hardware development, preferably in 2W/EV domain.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Hands on experience with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, Octave) and coding languages (Embedded C) is preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Hands\-on experience with relevant hardware design/simulation software tools (PSPICE, LTSPICE, SIMPLIS, Simmetrix).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Background in RF circuit design, SI/PI analyses, impedance analyses, RF simulation is preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Knowledge on best practices from board design point\-of\-view for EMI/EMC compliant design.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Highly skilled at problem solving and debugging embedded hardware circuits.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Experience in bringing into practice complex embedded hardware via thorough testing and validation on component and system level.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Knowledge of PCB design tools (OrCAD, Altium, Mentor Graphics or others) including schematic capture, board layout, stack\-up and impedance\-controlled designs, DFM methodologies/constraints.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Background in design and development of high\-speed, high\-performance embedded systems hardware involving numerous multi\-core micro\-processors, micro\-controllers, graphic controllers, SOM modules and volatile/non\-volatile memory chips.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Background in developing architectures and designing hardware involving high\-speed communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, SPI, LVDS, MIPI.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Commitment and passion towards all things engineering, in general, and embedded hardware design in particular. Drive towards creating new ideas and bringing them into practice.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
