Principal Engineer - Electrical

  • Work as part of the Electrical Engineering Team with specific responsibility for: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Overall engineering\nexecution for construction/layout related design. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Review of input for\ndesign. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Coordination work with\ninterface disciplines, such as Civil, Piping, Instrument, Building, HSE,\nPainting, Insulation, Construction, and others. <\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Coordination work with\nClient, Vendors, engineering subcontractors and others. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Design, Prepare and\nreview the following drawings/deliverables:
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Equipment/material\nand design specification, data sheet, calculation
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Layouts for cable\ntray/trench, power/control, lighting, earthing, telecommunication
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Schematic wiring and\nconnection diagram
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Detailed electrical\ninstallation drawings
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Cable and Drum\nschedule
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Inquiry package,\nincluding Requisition for bulk materials
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Technical bid\nevaluation report for bulk materials
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare technical\ncorrespondence and query to Client
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Preparation of\nEquipment/Material selection and MTO (Material Take\-off)
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • 3D Modeling Activities\nfor Electrical Scope for both presentation to Company at review session and\nmodeling including clash resolution
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Vendor document review\nfor electrical and other disciplines
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Field Engineering work\nin Construction site/Module fabrication yard
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Other necessary work\nrequested/instructed by supervisors.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics or similar categories from a recognized university<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Minimum 15+ years of experience in <\/span><\/span>electrical\ndetailed engineering, FEED and proposal/estimation works and including 5 year in\nengineering/supervisor works at construction site preferably in the field of\nOil & Gas and Chemicals<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge and experience\nwith Electrical construction/layout design of Substation, Power, Lighting,\nEarthing, Telecommunication, Cathodic Protection and Heat Tracing. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge and experience\nwith IEC and North American codes and standards as well as major oil company\nstandards. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with\nElectrical material and installation practices. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience of Field\nengineer in Construction site and/or Module Fabrication yard. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Technical Knowledge and experience with 3D\nmodeling such as E3D, S3D model<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
