Principal Engineer, External Manufacturing, Operation

Job Summary:

This position will be based in Philippine who will be responsible for project in terms of subcon transfer, fab transfer and change management. The key delivery includes the project milestone achievement, qualification 1st time successful rate, and potential production risk mitigation. This position will work closely to across internal teams and external subcontractors to execute on the following,

• Communicate with BU for program/project updating
• Collaboration with program manager for any risk awareness and action
• Project timetable control and material preparation readiness
• Subcon assembly process development engineering activities
• Documentation preparation and present for CAB and other approval flow
• Safe launch planning and execution with Operation engineering
• Participate internal SME for BKM sharing and fan out

Keys to success include strong self-driven, work individual and strong ownership on Subcon project management. Strong process knowledge, experience in PKG assembly operations, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in engineering and come from the semiconductor industry. Background include Assembly/Process/Product Engineer in high volume manufacturing.

The successful candidate must have at minimum the following

• > 10 years of experience in the semiconductor assembly industry
• Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and leadership
• Strong proficiency and command of English language
• Flexible to travel oversea per requirement
