Principal Engineer ICSS - Instrumentation

<\/span><\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Executes design for complex\ncontrol and safeguarding systems across all units.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensures technical\ncompatibility and integration of all ICSS interfaces.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Designs and supports\ninstrumentation and control for packaged equipment.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensures ICSS architecture, infrastructure,\nprotocols, and control strategies meet project requirements.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepares and updates ICSS\nspecifications and drawings.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Reviews and approves\nengineering documents such as: ICSS design philosophy, specifications,\narchitecture, and system configuration, Process Control Narratives, Cause &\nEffect Diagrams, Sequence & Logic Diagrams, Safety Requirement\nSpecifications (SRS), SIL Verification Procedures & Reports, Alarm\nManagement strategies and Graphic Display sketches, Instrument Index, I/O\nlists, and Instrument Wiring/Connection Diagrams, <\/span> <\/span><\/span>Instrument Building/Room Layouts and Cabinet\nLayouts, Design inputs to ICSS vendors and inquiry packages including\nrequisitions<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>Interface\n& Communication<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinates with internal\ndisciplines (Electrical, Building, HSE, Piping, Painting, Civil, Insulation).<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Interfaces with clients,\nvendors, and engineering subcontractors.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Aligns design interfaces\nwith internal teams (field instruments, analyzers, construction design).<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepares, checks, and\napproves technical bid evaluation reports.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepares technical\ncorrespondence and queries to clients.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>Documentation\n& Review<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Reviews vendor documents\nand provides approvals.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participates in HAZOP and\nSIL classification meetings.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span>Testing\n& Site Work<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Leads Factory Acceptance\nTests (FAT) at vendor facilities.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Plans and executes Site\nAcceptance Tests (SAT) and pre\-commissioning activities.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Performs field engineering\nwork at construction sites or module fabrication yards.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Conducts sequence and logic\ntesting during commissioning.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Manages engineering\nsubcontractors and ensures alignment with project requirements.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Responsible for manpower\nplanning and execution man\-hours under his control.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensures engineering\ndeliverables are completed as per schedule and project milestones.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Acts as the primary\ntechnical focal point for correspondence between client and JGC as well as\nvendors and JGC.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Resolves technical issues\nbetween JGC and client related to ICSS design.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span>·<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Manages project changes and\nensures their effective implementation in ICSS design.<\/span><\/span>
