Principal Engineer- Roads & Highways
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer specialising in Roads and Highways to join our esteemed engineering firm in Bengaluru, India. As a key technical leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure in the region.
- Lead and oversee the design and implementation of complex road and highway projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams
- Develop innovative and sustainable solutions for transportation infrastructure challenges
- Ensure compliance with local and international design standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on project deliverables
- Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in road and highway engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in road and highway engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Advanced knowledge of road and highway design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Having experience in delivering BIM Infrastructure projects and has the ability to lais with multi disciplines
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- In-depth understanding of road and highway design standards and regulations
- Expertise in sustainable and innovative road construction techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior engineers
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
