Principal Product Manager - Insurance Accounting (Private Funds)
We are seeking a dynamic and structured Principal Product Manager to guide our Private Funds System (LPx). This role requires an expert in insurance accounting who can effectively lead a team and ensure the successful implementation and operation of our private funds data system. You will be responsible for defining the system's functionalities, coordinating with clients and multiple internal teams, and ultimately delivering a product that meets the unique needs of our clients in the insurance accounting space.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a dedicated team focused on the Clearwater Private Funds System.
Develop and maintain private funds focused products to deliver meaningful insights and data transparency to clients.
Define and outline system functionalities based on client requirements and industry best practices.
Engage in extensive communication with clients to identify areas of improvement and resolve issues.
Coordinate and collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure smooth roadmap execution and alignment with business objectives.
Provide insights and support on how investments are tracking against indices, investment allocations, and values at risk.
Drive operational excellence through structured and disciplined project management.
Requirements:
10+ years in the insurance accounting industry, either as a practitioner or technologist.
Strong understanding of private markets, specifically related to insurance accounting.
Background in accounting, with a clear understanding of the needs and challenges within the industry.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to project management.
Salary Range: $215,000-$280,000 Base + Bonus
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
