This role is accountable for building and developing a high-performing team, optimizing workflows, and delivering pursuit excellence across all sectors. Success in this role requires a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, executing complex pursuits as a pursuit specialist, contributing to broader team success, and advancing efficiency in pursuit execution and workload management.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKey Responsibilities%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETeam Leadership %26amp; Management%3Cbr%3E•Lead, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of pursuit managers, specialists, and designers across sectors.%3Cbr%3E•Supervise direct reports and oversee broader team performance, workload balancing, and professional development.%3Cbr%3E•Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new team members to strengthen capacity and capability.%3Cbr%3E•Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that supports innovation, engagement, and growth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOperational Excellence%3Cbr%3E•Establish, manage, and continuously improve pursuit processes, tools, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.%3Cbr%3E•Maintain and evolve the AMS Pursuit Manual, templates, and portal resources.%3Cbr%3E•Oversee pursuit resourcing, workload management, and capacity planning across all sectors.%3Cbr%3E•Support go/no-go (GNG) processes and approvals, ensuring timely and consistent execution.%3Cbr%3E•Monitor and manage pursuit budgets and level of effort.%3Cbr%3E•Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPursuit Delivery%3Cbr%3E•Lead or support pursuit execution, ensuring excellence in messaging, content, and graphic presentation.%3Cbr%3E•Enforce brand standards and quality expectations across all deliverables.%3Cbr%3E•Guide teams on best practices, production workflows, and submission readiness.%3Cbr%3E•Ensure proper utilization of marketing content, tools, and communications resources.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETraining %26amp; Enablement%3Cbr%3E•Develop and deliver training programs (e.g., webinars, onboarding, “Basics”) to strengthen team capabilities.%3Cbr%3E•Provide timely feedback to staff and partners.%3Cbr%3E•Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across AMS.%3Cbr%3E•Serve as a resource for marketing and pursuit-related inquiries firmwide.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOperational Leadership %26amp; Collaboration%3Cbr%3E•Partner with leadership on department reporting, budgeting, staffing strategies, and operational initiatives.%3Cbr%3E•Support cross-functional collaboration with communications, graphic designers, and sector teams.%3Cbr%3E•Represent AMS in internal initiatives, technology adoption, and operational improvements.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreferred Qualifications%3Cbr%3E•Demonstrated experience in winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industry%26nbsp;%3Cbr%3E•Ability to travel up to 20%%3Cbr%3E•Work on pursuit deadlines for any sector up to 15%%3Cbr%3E•Cover letter and focused resume to job description%3C/p%3E
