Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional to manage the Quality Management System and specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout a program under the Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) product area. You will create or tailor existing planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements for the program team and supply base.

This is an onsite role in McKinney, Texas.

What You Will Do:

  • You will perform with minimal supervision and accomplish the following;
    • Ensure inspect ability, testability and producibility are considered during the early development of the systems specification and flow down to lower-level requirements.
    • Engage and oversee in technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) focused on the technical requirements traceability.
    • Guide Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to resolve systemic failure review through corrective action items.
    • Provide an integrated perspective of the program’s technical risk that considers criticality, system safety, reliability, test and evaluation criteria and adverse trend (Raytheon and supplier).
    • Review and approve the Engineering program documentation, including specifications, requirements, specification control drawings, altered item drawings, assembly drawings, test plans, procedures, instructions, and standard operating processes prior to release for correctness to technical standards.
    • Assure the impact of advisories, such as supplier, Rapid Information Sharing and Alerts (RISA), Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) and customer advisories, are considered.
    • Have direct interface with program management, cross-functional program managers, suppliers, customers, and government representatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years in Quality, Mission Assurance, or Engineering
  • Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience
  • Working experience in Industry and Government Mission Assurance Requirements and Standards
  • Experience collaborating with team members to develop solutions to problems
  • Experience in Risk & Opportunity Management, assessment, mitigation and capture
  • Experience applying predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and guiding actions to improve performance or mitigate problems
  • Experience using written/verbal presentation skills and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Working experience in Raytheon Corrective Action System (RCAS) or a demonstrated close­ loop corrective action system
  • Six Sigma Specialist or Industry Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
  • Experienced in Earned Value Management and Cost Account Management including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Level II Certification
  • Prior experience with AS9145 or similar program Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer
  • Past or present regular member or chair of Material and Failure nonconformance review boards (MRB/FRB)
  • Experience with Raytheon Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)/gating or program phasing (nonrecurring/recurring activities)
  • Mission Assurance Lead 3 Certification
  • Program Management/Project Management experience
  • Experience using systems engineering, reliability and system safety requirements
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
