Role Purpose

In a market where 80% of Australian mortgages are broker-originated, Cotality’s mission is to transform brokers into elite property advocates. The Principal, Client Director is the strategic architect of our most critical partnerships. You exist to bridge the gap between our data-driven insights and the growth objectives of Australia’s largest Mortgage Broker Aggregators, ensuring Cotality remains the indispensable engine behind their sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Account Growth: Own the end-to-end commercial relationship for a portfolio of top-tier Aggregator Groups, identifying expansion opportunities and securing long-term renewals.

  • Executive Advocacy: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with C-Suite and executive stakeholders to align Cotality’s value proposition with their overarching business goals.

  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Delivery: Lead internal teams—including Product, Marketing, and Client Success—to design and position solutions that solve complex partner challenges.

  • Evangelise Market Insights: Act as a thought leader, helping partners leverage property market data to deepen client trust and drive loan origination volume.

A Strategic Partnership Mindset: You don’t just "sell" products; you build ecosystems. You have a knack for identifying how data and insights can solve an enterprise client’s biggest business challenges.

Industry Knowledge: You understand the Australian mortgage and property landscape deeply. You can walk into a room of C-suite executives at a major aggregator and speak their language with authority and empathy.

Collaborative Leadership: While you are an individual contributor, you are a natural "internal influencer." You know how to rally product and marketing teams around a client’s vision without having direct authority over them.

Advocacy: You genuinely believe in the value of the broker and are passionate about helping them provide better outcomes for Australian homebuyers through superior insights.

What credentials do you need?

Strategic Sales Enablement Leadership: Extensive experience in developing high-impact commercial narratives and value propositions that translate complex property data into actionable tools for the broker industry.

Deep Industry Network: A proven track record of operating within the Australian Mortgage Broker and Aggregator landscape, with existing relationships at the executive level.

Strategic Market Positioning: Demonstrated expertise in bridging the gap between product capability and market demand, ensuring the Cotality voice is positioned as an indispensable partner for aggregator growth.

Cross-Functional Influence: A background in leading multi-disciplinary
