POSITION OVERVIEW
KKR is seeking to hire a Portfolio Management Analyst for its Global private equity portfolio, based in London.
The Portfolio team was established within the Private Markets group in 2022, having successfully operated in KKR’s Private Credit business since 2016. As Private Markets AUM continues to accelerate, and the Investment Portfolio expands, the Firm continues to focus on scaling this team, dedicated to managing trading performance and portfolio monitoring for its European Private Equity strategy. Following global team growth in 2024, we are now looking to further grow the team in London to build-out wider coverage for the European Private Equity portfolio.
Team Responsibilities will include:
- Tracking and analysing Portfolio Company performance through the investment cycle to provide portfolio insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly Portfolio Company valuations using financial models through DCF analysis
- Collaboration with the origination Deal Team on financial and strategic initiatives within Portfolio Companies
- Ongoing dialogue with senior leadership of Portfolio Companies, working with management teams on performance trends and KPI’s
- Preparation of quarterly reviews and analysis for internal Portfolio Management Committees
- Collaboration with other internal teams including Investor Relations, Macro and ESG in the creation of quarterly reporting, investor materials and other ad-hoc requests
The key attributes required from the successful candidate are:
- 2+ years relevant experience, preferably in a similar role (i.e. Private Equity Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Transaction Services, Restructuring, Investment Banking)
- Fluent in spoken and written German
- Excellent investing and financial acumen, with the ability to quickly disseminate and analyse financial reporting
- Capable of building and interpreting financial models, including strong LBO and DCF modelling skills
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in an additional European language (German, French) is particularly desirable
- The ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, with competing deadlines
- ACA or CFA Qualification desirable
