Position Summary
The Licensed Clinician provides outpatient behavioral health services including assessments, therapy, crisis assessment, and crisis intervention. Clinicians operate within their scope of licensure and adhere to CAPS-C clinical, billing, and compliance standards. Limited participation in the after-hours on-call rotation may be required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial and diagnostic assessments
- Provide individual therapy services
- Perform crisis assessments and crisis interventions when clinically indicated
- Develop and document safety plans
- Provide telehealth services in accordance with CAPS-C telehealth protocols
- Participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage (if assigned)
- Coordinate care and make appropriate referrals
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Adhere to billing and CPT requirements
- Participate in supervision, consultation, and QA activities
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Texas license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field
- Current NPI
- Professional liability insurance (if contractor)
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with crisis services
- Telehealth experience
- Familiarity with insurance documentation standards
Work Expectations
- Documentation completed within 24 hours
- Compliance with CAPS-C workflows and policies
- Ethical practice and professional conduct
