Process Engineer (FPSO Gas Compression Design)

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Having Process design of Gas compression system including Process Flow Diagram (PFD), P&ID, Process safety diagram (PSD) and Heat & Mass Balance.

2. Prepare and review Gas Compression P&ID

3. Have the competency to run Aspen HYSYS simulation

4. Able to perform sizing for pipeline within the Gas compression skid, Pulsation bottle, Scrubber (with internal), cooler, and PSV.

5. Prepare the PSV sizing, settle-out and blowdown calculation report.

6. Prepare Fire Fighting system design and hydraulic calculation for Gas compression skid

7. Able to prepare Operating, control & Safeguarding philosophies.

8. Able to work independently in process datasheets and line list

9. Able to prepare and review cause and effect matrix

10. Able to lead in HAZOP / LOPA / SIL reviews independently

11. Participate in technical evaluation of all equipment and instrument of gas compression system

12. Participate in design review meetings with clients and vendors.

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

1. Educational background in bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering

2. 3 to 5 years direct hands-on experience in detailed engineering of gas compression systems for FPSO

3. Well versed in industrial design practices and OFFSHORE requirements.

4. Possess working experience level in using Aspen HYSYS

5. Have work in multi-discipline team in delivering gas compression facilities and units.
